From FY24 Q2 QU

We will also use the new HSC+VIDEO images and catalogues produced from the above pipeline run, to search for dwarf galaxies and test whether the addition of the near infrared photometry from VISTA better enables us to identify and characterise the dwarf galaxy population.

  • goal was to compare LSST-IR with a standard pipeline and Nasim
  • this has been done
  • now working with Sugata on a study AGN in dwarf galaxies. First will check Near IR data quality if better than public VIDEO catalog.
