How to execute standalone x86_64 binaries instead of installing them through apt #29

How can I execute x86_64 binaries in my Linux VM with Rosetta, which I've downloaded somewhere instead of installing them through apt?

All the resources I've found online only explain how to install x86_64 applications through apt by, appending :amd64 to the package name.
