Horizontal position of the indentation guide?

In the preview screenshots, the indentation lines align to the left of the first character of the first line of a block, so that with scopes turned on and showing the scope start, it meets the underline right where it starts:

But for me, the indentation guide is aligned seemingly to the center of the first character of the first line. So the underline at the start of scope starts to the left of it.

Not sure whether there's a setup option for indent-blankline to customize this, or if it's something with my terminal or the font I'm using or? Could anyone help me get things looking the way they do in the repo's screenshots?

How the line gets positioned depends on the character you use :help ibl.config.indent.char. The default one is left aligned and should look like the screenshot in the readme.
