Installing a game that uses Wine will always use the Lutris provided Wine, even if the Wine runner is set to use the system provided Wine.

@tannisroot You misunderstand, I want Lutris to use my system Wine, but it uses its own Wine which is not working properly with the specific game I'm trying to install.

Do I understand correctly that even though you've specified Lutris to use System Wine, it's using lutris wine anyway?
Which game is it btw?
And can you make some logs of this? lutris -d
