This issue was opened by a bot after a user submitted feedback through the in-app form.

Message:

I have already opened firefox, but AltTab does not show it at all. So I can not switch to firefox by AltTab. Sometimes this issue happened in IDEA. I don't konw why. I try to attach AltTab process, but failed. Reload AltTab can solve this issue.

Duplicate of #1079 #1249

Please keep it mind these issues are bugs in the apps, not in AltTab. We have workarounds in AltTab to help, but it's a practical approach to help people. The real fix should/needs-to come from the makers of these apps. Other apps work fine.

I am able to reproduce the issue by reinstall JetBrains AppCode. The first time I open AppCode after reinstall it, AltTab never show AppCode window. I debug the code on my Mac, I find that AltTab can get the event of app launched but never get the event of finishedLaunching. So I just remove the code runningApplication.isFinishedLaunching. After that, AltTab work well and the issue is fixed.
