Apparently xrandr is used for setting gamma, on Wayland it's deactivated.

Possible Solution

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

Open "Brightness" under Wayland
See only backlight (on labtops) active

Possible Solution

Implement wlr-gamma-control-unstable-v1.xml. Example for testing:
wlsunset -l 44 -L 10 -t 4800 -g 1.4
