I'm not sure what the context this repo was created in, but based on the description it looks like it might be a good fit for LocalWiki- http://localwiki.org/. LW is a powerful platform oriented towards place-based information sharing, and its one of the apps officially supported by the Code for America Brigade. If anyone would like to deploy maineplaces through localwiki, we can create a fork over at https://github.com/organizations/Code4Maine and get direct support from the localwiki team.
