self.worker not a constructor

has anyone else reported the map not loading after upgrading from v3.1.0 ? Anything below that version loads just fine. As soon as I upgrade to any version after that, I get the following js error:

self.worker is not a constructor

web workers work fine. nothing has been changed except for the version number.

Nope, I've searched in the public issues of GL JS and haven't found anything similar. Could you provide in some way minimal reproduction steps to check it from our side? Is it possible to have the same issue with fresh Wordpress copy if you just add scripts. Do you use scripts from CDN like https://api.mapbox.com/mapbox-gl-js/v3.1.0/mapbox-gl.js?
