CarPlay - Panning / Scrolling Map

Hello. I am actually using the Maps SDK to render a mapbox map on CarPlay and manually creating a navigation functionality. In the CarPlay map template delegate function to pan the map with touch I am using almost identical code to the one implemented here in the Navigation SDK source code, but the behavior of my map is not what expected. If anyone can please shed some light.

The CarPlay Map Template Delegate Method + Helper methods:
