Thanks to Marc for this useful code. I am not sure if this project has been abandoned.

I have forked the code and fixed various errors - check out this repo (also on npm):

https://github.com/linker3000/node-red-contrib-countdown-3000.

To install this function, you will need to first remove the current one.
