Hi all,

I recently implemented Waterkotte heat pump integration into my HA server. It's great to see that there is the ability to get all the information from the system and control it.

What else than the standard like temp control, holiday mode you are controlling via the implementation? Any fancy ideas or must haves I need to know and implement in my system?

My personal use cases are more or less have all to do in the context of using additional PV power (before I will send it to the grid)... For 'reasons' I have a 16.8 kW peak PV - this means that at certain moments I have 'some' PV production let that I can use to 'boil some hot water' (instead of sending it int the grid)...

So I have some simple automation increasing hot-water temperature - or even start the water-disinfection (which then makes use of the external heater to get over 60°C)...

Also I am controlling/adjusting the central heating temperature - there is an option to disable the automated outdoor-temperature-related adjustment (Heizkurve) and instead setting a fixed temperature for the central heating and Mix1 (floor) . So when I want to have a room warm (quick), then I can do that with a single button from HA (or better my daughter can do that).

But except of that - collect & watch all the data - specially different COP's :-) Just to feel better...

My Waterkotte was installed almost exactly two years ago - and there was not a single day where I have reget the move away from gas...
