You want to encrypt the database? Or have the program ask for a password on startup?

more like for the program to ask for a password on startup, maybe later on why not encrypt the database for even more added security, but my request was mainly for the password on startup

Don't think that would be useful. Your OS's user account should have a password set. If you leave the computer, lock the screen.

Encrypting the database might be useful for some (not for me =))
