Blender can render volume data well when they're formatted as OpenVDB files.
Since a few months, there exists a project called Bioxel Nodes, which allows Blender to import TIFF stacks, HDF5 files, and other bio image types.
Maybe this can be included into the Mastodon Blender bridge to see both the image data and the track data?
