[feature request] To support 2-finger touch-screen scale up/down

eog = 3.36.0 from GNOME3 has supported 2-finger scale up/down for both touch-pad & touch-screen.
I am using eom = 1.24.0 provided by Ubuntu 20.04 MATE LTS. I found that it only supports 2-finger scale up/down for touch-pad, not for touch-screen.

Is there plans for this feature to be supported by eom in the following releases?

For this to become supported requires that at least one team member have both the time to work on a new feature for EOM (we are a small team) and a touchscreen. I for one don't have one.
