what tardmeister general @t3chguy seems to overlook is the fact that unusable matrix.to-links aren't a branding issue, they fail for all element-web users that aren't using matrix.org. issue #330 is wrongly closed. #neckbeard

I think i understood how it works. This only works with their app.element.io. In my latest element app on my server it doesn't work. That is, the url specified in permalink_prefix should not lead to your personal domain of your matrix.to server, but to the element web server.
