mpc play
to kill the Daemon
sudo killall mpd
or pidof mpd
then kill PID
if not local (client case) then get ip with a scan for the OS.
sudo apt install nmap
nmap -sn 192.168.1.0/24
basic scan... man nmap
to control the Daemon :)
sudo apt install ncmpcpp
to connect to MPD as client with ncmpcpp/mpc to control the MPD.
ncmpcpp is just awesome looking; you can do the same with mpc basically.
i use it just because its awesome.
ncmpcpp -h 192.168.0.xxx
==> to connect to MPD
install it anyway because you use it for a manual DB update
sudo apt install mpc
ex.:
mpc -h IP OPTION
mpc -h 192.168.0.102 playlist
mpc -h 192.168.0.102 play (pause,next,stop,...)
or (when local)
mpc stats
mpc play
mpc update
to update DB after adding more files.

to ~92% to counter clipping (better Power Supply would be good) atm running a 1.8A phone charger but no crashes so far (no HDMI or USB exept the 64Gb SD)
replace url from the playlist you created in Youtube, and execute the command to download the output to "/home/pi/Music/"
