It's not maintained anymore.
We should probably update the README for that - I will do that later with an issue open to address this too and welcome anyone from the community whose interested to keep it up nonetheless.

Unfortunately, currently non of the existing collaborators or myself as maintainer are handling the project in any active manner. With that said, I'll gladly merge any PRs.

If anyone is interested in reviving the project and the work to be done I'm all positive on adding you to the collaborators and handing over the project lead as well. It makes sense that I'll also advertise that more publicly so I'll open an issue and edit the README too.

MEAN.js was an awesome platform, is still a great resource to reference and learn from. Thanks to all contributors for your hard efforts!
For those looking for an equivalent platform now, what would you guys recommend? I loved the idea of having a pre-rolled platform ready to go. So handy for spinning up quick semi-complex prototypes without having to redo all the boilerplate work.

@danwani

I've created a community we're working on right now called Weareopensource (web).

The concept that I would have liked to succeed is a repo by technos, node nest angular swift ... and some example repo for FullStack

The difficulty is to code the same features in each techno. Today we are only two. We have a Node part based on RIESS and MEAN in rework. An updated Angular part. A part NEST in works.

Currently I finish the NODE part of my side and want to do the SWIFT part.

My idea would then be to remove examples, and just do a good WIKI on how to compose his FULLSTACK project quickly.

We lack people and structure and move slowly.

But in need of a personal project (NODE ANGULAR SWIFT) I continue to advance on it.

@danwani MEAN.io seems the natural way to go...

hello, just to give some news, always based on MEAN.js Mindset, and Riess.js with @lirantal starter

always same concept , Backs/Fronts, aligns on feats, in multiple languages, in order to allow anyone to compose fullstack on demand (React, Angular, VusJS, Node, Nest, Swift, Go).
