prevent video/ gif from playing

When someone or you send a video or gif through messenger it starts autoplay and keeps playing. this is preventing my Mac from going into sleep. selecting another conversations removes the prevent sleep.

apparently FB removed the option from the web version to disable autoplay and this is no longer possible. And installing a plugin to achieve tis is not possible within Franz (for instance https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/autoplaystopper/ejddcgojdblidajhngkogefpkknnebdh?hl=en )
