Excess particles on mekatool when used with external vein mine

Issue description

This happened on TNP Limitless 8 modpack. While holding \ to enable FTB Ultimine and with Extended Vein Mining enabled on Meka-Tool, the following happens.

Do you have magnet mode on your boots enabled or is this 100% just the vein mine particles and not a mixture of the two?

magnet mode enabled

Edit: Tested with magnet mode DISABLED and the same still happens
