Though it's technically doable, why would we need "total" statistics? It makes a sense for me for active/queued jobs to understand current load, but as for the total, do we really need this? If you please give me more details, context?
PS If we're really need some time statistics we could think about creating Prometheus API or something for that ...
It's not for monitoring sparky itself.
But concerning monitoring, even if I like prometheus and friends, it's yet another service to run where a minimal monitoring report can be embedded in the UI (cpu + memory usage) for the small setups.
I see. Basically as all builds ( aka jobs ) with statues are kept in sql table we can easily fetch it from there and display in some format, is that what you want? So you don't need a time series here, just total for all the time?
An overall view of what sparky have done from "all time".
