Would appreciate the ability to outright disable the registration page so that it could be used as a personal one-line blog.

Could you please explain further?

Gladly,

When I saw this app I was excited because I thought it would be a platform for personal micro-blogging. In my head I wanted to be able to host Memory-Stack and use it like my own personal Twitter.

Though I've since realised that this is more of a social media in a box.

It would be nice to have a 'single user' mode whereby only the owner of the web server (me) can post updates, and nobody can register.
