This could either spam the alumni list or be an opt-in/opt-out feature directly to the students, not sure what's better.

Could also be a periodic digest, maybe something like a dump every Monday and Thursday with links and activities that have occured since that time. That might be the best way to go if we want to spam the alumni list.
