[BUG] Colors in the legend not matching the figure

The colors in the the legend panel are not matching the colors displayed in the interface.

Detailed description of the issue

Here is a screenshot of an interactive interface when I open it:

Now if change all the colors (randomly), and redraw, then the colors of the legend match the interface:

This problem is not happening all the time (reproducible yes, but for some layers it works fine). If you run the metagenomics self test, you can see the problem. Here the taxonomy layer's colors are fine, the problem is in the layer additional data "visit" and "Bars"

I forgot to mention that when you export the SVG, the legend contains the proper colors.
