Crashes ending in

wp_linux_drm_syncobj_surface_v1#38: error 3: Release or Acquire point set but no buffer attached
[08:19:17.852679] [E] Wayland Dispatch Error: Protocol error

Timing is not consistent when crash happens.

@jwinarske I'm unable to reproduce this on Intel GPU, but it's a well-known issue when running the application on NVIDIA with drivers v5xx.

To confirm, could you please share the output of vulkaninfo and the relevant commit hashes?

Interesting, seems AMDGPU is somehow affected too, I'll look into it
