Ubuntu Core 18 compatibility

First, congrats for great work. I am try run RPi-Monitor in Ubuntu Core 18. This system, optimized fot IoT, is a read-only SO. So, all apps need to be install by Snap or Docker. Your solution its closer to works in Ubuntu Core, but has some things causing errors:

docker: Error response from daemon: error while creating mount source path '/opt/vc': mkdir /opt/vc: read-only file system.

You try to create a folder in mounted volume. This is necessary? Any chance to adapt your work to Ubuntu Core?
