I try to run your example consumer connecting to zookeeker with a defined topic, and I get this error:

'Kafka\Exception' with message 'No topics has been selected. Please, choose from the list of available topics: ''' in /srv/microservices/nodeavro/vendor/michal-harish/kafka-php/src/Kafka/TopicFilter.php:25
