[BUG] Cannot disable "use keyboard shortcuts to activate apps" settings. #2250

The toggle switch shows that it disabled, however it still open the coresponding app when I press <Super> + number_keys. This is a problem because I use <Super> + number_keys to switch between workspaces

Mmm... odd... "It does work as expected in my system"(tm). Which version are you using? The one from extensions.gnome.org? The one from the Ubuntu repositories? Which Ubuntu version are you using? (or which distro/version, in case you don't use ubuntu).

I installed it from extensions.gnome.org.

GNOME Shell 46.0
Ubuntu 24.04

I can confirm that the bug is in the extensions.gnome.org version but is fixed in upstream, so in the next release it will be fixed.

I tried building manually from this repository and the issue still persist

Be sure to fully remove first the old extension, to avoid conflicts. Also, don't forget to close the gnome shell session and reopen it after having installed the extension.
