Gray-out options when they have been selected

This is only relevant if we implement the changes in #37 first, otherwise this is a breaking change

When a user selects an option, that option should then be greyed out, and any further clicks on that object will result in no change to the application. If they click the corresponding selection above, then the option should be reverted to its original colors and clicking will again have the expected effects.
