Certain cells contain special values - special values start with "ï", and appear at end of string cell. example is ID 3018. They don't appear in excel until clicked on.

Worth taking a look @LuciaSegovia - the text it contains might still be relevant? e.g. Common oats, oatmeal, rawï¼»Syn. Oatsï¼½ - would the "Syn. Oats" still be relevant?

Thanks @TomCodd for looking this up! So, on the original dataset appears as:
Common oats*, oatmeal, raw
［*Syn. Oats］

For oats it may not be super relevant, but I checked other foods, and it may provide useful info, for example:

Mume*, raw
［*Syn. Japanese apricots］

So, maybe we could create a new column "food_desc_syn" and add the info there?
