[regression] [worked-in:17.6.3]
the problem is always available, also after uninstall and install all the necessary tools. In the help about is following to seen:

Hi there, thanks for the issue. What kind of python project are you trying to create? Can you set the project types to "All project types" and see if it shows any project templates? Also, could you check if you have python workload installed? Thanks!
