Even after configuring the Cosmos DB environment variables, chat history is not being saved. The following parameters have been updated: AZURE_COSMOSDB_URI,
AZURE_COSMOSDB_KEY,
AZURE_COSMOSDB_DB_NAME,
AZURE_COSMOSDB_CONTAINER_NAME,
AZURE_COSMOSDB_CONFIG_CONTAINER_NAME.

Is there any other configuration required to ensure chat history is stored successfully?

It is being saved in Cosmos, but the previous chats are not appearing on the frontend

Hi Darshan, I'm unable to reproduce this issue. I would suggest starting with a fresh clone of AzureChat and fresh deployment (if possible) to validate the configuration. It seems if the chats are saved, that the database connection is valid and working, but permission to read from the Cosmos DB containers may not be configured correctly (perhaps something went wrong during the initial deployment). Particularly review this part of the Bicep code where the permissions are granted.
