I am of the opinion that 'evince' (document viewer) is the ideal app for opening pdf files. I'd choose it over, Edge, Adobe Acrobat, Sumatra and etc.

I'd like to be able to to set \\wsl.localhost\Ubuntu\usr\bin\evince as the default handler for *.pdf files in properties.
