Angular 2 + locators in testcafe

Just had a question regarding the selectors here, i couldn't find an answer anywhere else therefore had to resort to this. The angular element "bc-login-form" is not a regular angular elements, right? or am I understanding it wrong. The ones that I have seen are ng-binding, ng-model, ng-options etc. Just wondering if "bc-login-form" is a some kinda custom angular locator and would it be a right statement to say that test cafe is compatible with "custom" angular locators?
