English vs. metric units on inputs and outputs. Should be an option, since different people like different things.

yes please, I'd like to avoid switching between units, I can see that although MACH3 responds to G20/G21 the forums show examples where people are getting tripped up and its not necessarily working as well as its meant to respond? I'd like to put in speeds and tool sizes and other machine parameters in metric and also code outputted in metric.

ironically most splitboard measurements are in inches too!!!!!

This would be a great improvement - I guess it could be split into two parts:

  1. Accepting inputs in different units (mm, cm, inches)
  2. Option in machine-def.json file to output metric or imperial G-Code
