The team had taken a T-shaped approach to delivery and were working collaboratively as a team.
Advice and recommendations
Major points

• Whilst the team have utilised existing design systems to develop the frontend without an interaction designer, the service could benefit from an interaction designer at beta. At a minimum, the team should look to engage in design crits with the interaction design community.
• Ideally the team would have benefitted from the input of a content designer earlier and the service will definitely need content design input at beta in addition to any support from a technical writer. The team should explore ways of accessing this.
