Using the latest version of the GUI, there is no audio playback during capture. Audio will be present in the resulting file, but it's difficult to monitor the recording process without being able to hear the audio and confirm it is playing. This is true for a single capture or when capturing using 2+ decks. I have received several emails from people reporting the same experience.

This was something I experienced as well on the current verison of the GUI with Monterey 12.7.5 on a 2018 Mac Mini w/an Intel Core i7 and using a JVC BR-DV3000 deck.

@dericed just wanted to ping that this is still an issue with the latest version of the GUI. Could we add it back in? With the option to toggle between multiple captures if needed to check the audio?
