Create and run vector store file batch.

DESCRIPTION

Create and run vector store file batch.

EXAMPLES

Example 1

PS C:\> Start-VectorStoreFileBatch -VectorStoreId 'vs_abc123' -FileId ('file-abc123', 'file-def456', 'file-ghi789')

Start a batch for adding 3 files to the vector store with ID vs_abc123

-VectorStoreId

The ID of the vector store for which to create a File Batch.

A list of File IDs that the vector store should use.

-ChunkingStrategy

The chunking strategy used to chunk the file(s). If not set, will use the "auto" strategy.

-MaxChunkSizeTokens

The maximum number of tokens in each chunk. The default value is 800. The minimum value is 100 and the maximum value is 4096.
Note that the parameter only acceptable when the ChunkingStrategy is "static".

-ChunkOverlapTokens

The number of tokens that overlap between chunks. The default value is 400. The value must not exceed half of MaxChunkSizeTokens.
Note that the parameter only acceptable when the ChunkingStrategy is "static".

-TimeoutSec

Specifies how long the request can be pending before it times out.
The default value is 0 (infinite).

Number between 0 and 100.
Specifies the maximum number of retries if the request fails.
The default value is 0 (No retry).
Note : Retries will only be performed if the request fails with a 429 (Rate limit reached) or 5xx (Server side errors) error. Other errors (e.g., authentication failure) will not be performed.
