Use download email and store in flash with FFat

Hi,
is someone succeed to download and read back with FFat flash save ? I change the ESP_Mail_FS.h:

#include <FFat.h>
#define ESP_MAIL_DEFAULT_FLASH_FS FFat //For ESP32 FAT
Put in comment the SPIFFS part.
Compile with FFat partition.

At start, I checked all the file in FFat:

=> Empty

During download, I have I/O problem:

It is then always empty. I tried to create the folder which I use to store email, same:

Listing directory: /
Creating Dir: /email
Dir created
Listing directory: /
DIR : email
=> It is like the create directory didn t happen.

Anyone succeed to use this option ?

Tested: If the full directories are created before, it works: In this case, I have to create /email/21 before call to IMAP and then, it is ok:

C: Download attachment 3 of 4
download "/email/21/test.jpg", 100%

=> So, it does not create the directories when needed ? Path/UID/attachment

Made a workaround in 2 sequences:

• First Read and store all UID which match with the search parameters WITHOUT any download parameter set
• Create one by one directory with specific path : /email_path/UID
• Then Get all UID with the download parameter set
  Same for LittleFS.

Yes, I used it as describe in this example. On storage on SPIFFS, as there is no folder management, it is working as the download is in single name /email_data/UID/attch.doc per example.
On FFat or LittleFS, it looks like neither /email_data folder and after UID folder are created. So always File I/O error. If they are manually previously created, it is ok.
