WDT reboots device during log in process (idle time) when program is within an RTOS Task

I have a v large program to monitor remote irrigation tanks with 4-6 tasks using RTOS and this email function is particularly useful for alerts and alarms.
In testing prior to inclusion in the master program - As a strand alone email program where the email is called thru the loop fnc it works fine.
However as stand-alone with the email function within a RTOS task the watchdog reboots while waiting for the authentication process to respond – this often takes 5+- sec. to do so. I have tried increasing priority and adding a delay but unable to get it to work.
This may well be an RTOS question but if there is a work around within the email program structure, I would appreciate any assistance.

The finite loop task will consume memory that you reserved as long as it's running.

Is this related to memory allocation error? Or using the memory at the outside scope.

For the RTOS task that some outside variables and objects that access inside the task function should be declared as global or static.

You also can create the struct that contains multiple types of data you want and pass to the task function parameter.

If possible, you should create simple code example but complete that reproduces the issue that I can test.

After a bit of tinkering and thinking i believe i have solved my immediate problem.
The loop() instructions run on core1 - This worked.
In the RTOS prgm I had allocated the msnt and email tasks to core0. Once changed to core1 the functions work. It must be a conflict with the wifi which i understand runs on core0. Odd however that i had no other issues with html etc using that core before.
Any way thank you for the response and very impressed with how quick it was and with the code.

A quick secondary question if you are inclined.
I only wish to send one email when certain measurement criteria are encountered - not everytime a reading is taken. I can manage that for one message - in this case being the warning level but not for the subsequent lower alert level. any ideas?
