Array indexes in deeply nested component structure and mobx performance

Any advice what is the best way to get array indexes in deeply nested component structure in React with storing live data? Should I use props and prop-drilling trough components (if so, does it affect mobX performance?) or should I maybe use custom attributes in html and get them by DOM selectors?
