What should the location be for compiled C-libraries under OSX? #3797
-
MLS 3.5 has the location for library binaries specified for Linux and Windows, under Resources as linux32, linux64 etc. Where should these libraries be stored for OSX, both for the INtel and the new ARM architectures? How did OpenModelica and SystemModeler do it? |

This question isn't unique to MSL. The corresponding specification issue is this one: modelica/ModelicaSpecification#2220 |

(Since you also asked, we use the name darwin64 for Intel binaries in SystemModeler, and as far as I know we haven't decided on anything for macOS on ARM yet – Rosetta 2 seems to do an amazingly good job. We also use a directory called linux-arm.) |
