more info about fairemail, may be solved now: https://github.com/mjl-/mox/issues/80#issuecomment-1760385285
looks like it had interaction with switching mail servers. i.e. for the imap client, it would be talking to a different mail server after reconnecting over the downtime where an admin migrated data.

Hey @mjl-! Can you say wheather this was fixed? I went through our issues and created some labels. Should be self-explanatory :-)

I would say that we use the STATUS=FIXED label for now but don't close the issue just yet.
