Remove course news functionality as it does not work anymore from Moodle 3.7 on

I've seen that from MOODLE 3.7, the possibility of course news has dropped.
Will this option come back later?

Ok, now I understand your request.

No, the course news feature as we used to have it in this plugin is gone forever as the necessary endpoints in Moodle core have been removed. Instead, there is block_timeline in Moodle core now which more or less covers what course news did until now.

It would not be impossible to extend this plugin again to fetch the course news data from the new endpoints which block_timeline is also getting its data from.

However, we won't do that anymore as we have are already transitioning away from this plugin.
I have described the status in #34 (comment) in more depth.

I will keep this issue open as a reference for anyone who picks up working on this plugin after the plugin adoption.
