I'm seeing that error pop up in my console from time to time:

Error: Promised response from onMessage listener went out of scope init.js:75:34

Currently using Firefox Version: 88.0.1 (64-Bit) on OSX 11.3.1

Still a thing btw @limpkin, it's a bit annoying when you try to debug your own JS code and constantly see an error from another extension :D

Does this error presents in latest x64 Firefox (version 110.0.1)?

@KDederichs is there a website or scenario that allows this message to popup more often?

@limpkin not really, I just see it on about any website really.
It even happens on sites like https://www.golem.de/ with no fields at all (it's a bit delayed you maybe have to stay around 30 seconds or something)
