Hello Moonlight Project,
For Mouse
I use Moonlight via the LTE network for remote working. Mostly, the LTE network has a latency of 10 - 40ms with a little bit of jitter (>=400ms). Everything is working fine, but the mouse pointer lags when moving.
What I Tried
Enabled "Optimize mouse for remote desktop"
The mouse lag decreased when this option was enabled, but it is still lagging.
Enabled "Local mouse pointer"
Moonlight shows both the local and remote mouse on the screen.
The local mouse cursor always shows the Android arrow cursor icon and does not follow the remote cursor icon.
Sometimes, it sends wrong instructions. For example, the Moonlight quick menu opens when I click the right - mouse button.
For Keyboard
When I quickly press keys (e.g., abcdefg) and network jitter occurs, some keys (e.g., abcfg) are not sent to the remote PC.
Way of Thinking
Some Chinese remote apps install the VMulti - HID driver on the remote PC. They emulate the mouse, keyboard, and even the gamepad as HID (Human Interface Device) devices to fix these issues.
Hope all these issues will be fixed.
Love the Moonlight Project.
