This is a feature request, and I am new adjust source-code, but would like to give it a try. The idea is for the pixelate effects, which in my screen I have set on 40 pixels, which divvies up the 1920 by 1080 screen nice. Downside is that one side is odd and the other even, but with 60 pixels as pixelation this could work. Anyway, not to get lost in the mathematics, would it be possible to make a square indicator, so that it would cover an x number of pixels.
I guess the indicator ring thingies, jump around semi-randomly, and that would have to be made, if you make the center square 4x4, one of the 12 outer squares.
How difficult would it be for a beginner to change that shape and have the desired outcome?

Also; is it possible to screenshot of the swaylock-config'd version. Grim is not really helpful in this case, at least not in the standard setting, so I want to know what others use for their sharing of screenshots here
