Free choice of merge range

Currently there is only one merge arrow for consecutive different texts, I want to be able to choose the option to merge the range by myself instead of forcing to merge all
Hope to provide options for single-line merge, multi-line merge, and full merge.

An idea, for example, if I select the difference code, then the arrow will only merge the selected code

If there is no selection, merge all

Please don't close this feature request, it would be enormously helpful and is worth keeping on the backlog. I use this feature all the time in another tool (because it's not supported in diff-merge) while managing complex changes I need to sync across 4+ versions of documentation.
