When installing Storm via homebrew, the third-party resources are not properly exported. That means the homebrew installation cannot be used via CMake, for example as a library for stormpy or the starter project.
See moves-rwth/stormpy#12 for the common error Imported target "storm" includes non-existent path.

The current work-around is to build Storm from source.
