Steps to reproduce and a minimal demo of the problem
Load the app with >1 call to the same api endpoint / params (e.g. /static)

Current behavior
Goes back to the server each time

Expected/desired behavior
Maintains the result in cacher

Other information
I'm pretty sure $http has a setting for this, we just need to activate it.
