It would be very useful to have an image picker with the common images used in Firefox. This will also allow our users to preview the image that they will be using.

There are a few options here:

  • vendor the assets into this repository
  • vendor a list of assets into this repository and bundle them with the built app only
  • maintain a mapping of URIs to mozilla-central paths and hotlink to hg.mozilla.org (with some amount of caching).
